We will ship your order in the most reliable, fastest and cost-effective way possible using FedEx or Canada Post for destinations not serviced by FedEx.
1. We warehouse and ship products from Edmonton. These
lines ship from Edmonton: Adora Dolls, Alex Toys, Artburn, K'sKids,Hape Toys/Educo, Janod,Kids Preferred, Melissa & Doug, PlayMais, Plus-Plus, Sevi,Toopy & Binoo,
In each item description it states where the item ships from. If you would like to create an Edmonton pickup, please call 780-761-2823 to make arrangements. You will be given a code to deactivate the live FedEx feed and create a pickup order. There is no shopping on location, only pick up for boxed order.
We receive shipments about every 2 weeks and if an item you have ordered is on backorder status, it will be shipped out as soon as the shipment is received. By ordering in bulk, we are able to save on cross order fees and thus shipping fees are reduced for our customers.
2. We also dropship. This means your order will ship from the manufacturer's warehouse, either in the United States or Mississauga, Ont., for KidKraft Canada products. Pickups are not possible. Dropship lines include Dexton Guidecraft, KidKraft Canada, Little Partners, P'kolino, Schoenhut Piano Company, and Teamson Kids. Orders are emailed to the appropriate sales rep, who are based in the U.S., and once they have processed they then ship out to our customers in Canada. Once we receive a tracking number supplied by the reps, then the tracking number is emailed to you.
How are shipping rates calculated?
Shipping has a real time live feed from FedEx.. This means shipping costs from the distrubutor's warehouse to the delivery address requested when placing an order are automatically calculated. Shipping costs are based on the weight of the item and distance from the warehouse to a shipping address. For example, not all table and chair sets weigh the same and are shipped from various manufacturer/distributors located in Canada and throughout the United States, so the total cost of the order will vary upon the item. The cost of shipping will be calculated once you enter your city, province and postal/zip code on the checkout page. If you want to compare shipping costs of two items, simply enter item 1, calculate the shipping, then choose item 2 and click on the blue X icon on the right to delete item 1 from your cart, and refresh shipping rates.
Items in an order cannot exceed 150 lbs in one single order. You may need to divide your items into more than one order so that each individual order is below 150 pounds.
When your order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail. The e-mail will include the tracking number for your shipment when available.
When will my order arrive?
All orders are processed almost immediately. Our office then forwards the dropship order to the manufacturer's warehouse. Processing of a dropship order may take 2-5 business days, not including holidays. In additions please allow 2-5 days for shipping. Orders crossing the Canadian/U.S. border may take longer. If your order is comprised of products from various distrubutors/manufacturers, your order may be delivered in multiple shipments.
Orders shipping from Edmonton are processed almost immediately and usually shipped within 1-2 days. FedEx doesnot ship on weekends or statuatory holidays.

Edmonton to Calgary 1-2 days
Edmonton to Regina 2-3 days
Edmonton to Winnipeg 2-3 days
Edmonton to Toronto 3-4 days
Edmonton to Montreal 5-6 days
Rural areas with box # will ship by Canada Post - allow a 1-2 weeks
Friday night thru the weekend orders go out on Monday
Orders can be cancelled up to two hours
of placing an order or 10 pm. mountain standard time. Once an order
has left the warehouse (could be anywhere from 2 hours to 2 days,
depending on the warehouse) and is in the hands of FedEx or UPS, the
order cannot be cancelled. If a customer still requires the
cancellation of the order, then there may be addditional costs such as
a 15% restocking fee and pickup shipping fees.
Out-of-stock products: we will contact you if an item that is out-of-stock has been ordered. We, along with our vendors/suppliers, strive to keep our inventory up to date.
At this time, we do not offer shipping outside of Canada. For rural areas, Yukon and NT,PE,NL please call for a custom shipping quote. FedEx does not deliver and quote will be provided using Canada Post if possible.
cooltoysfortots.ca is located in Alberta, Canada. The GST (Canadian Goods and Services Tax) is 5%. Depending on the sales tax rate of the province in which you live, you will be charged the applicable sales tax.
Duties (for goods shipped to Canada) These are included with your total price.
Toys 0% for goods made in the U.S.A. Made in other countries are subject to duty.

* Cooltoysfortots.ca works hard to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied when your purchase arrives, please email us for a return authorization number. Please return the item in unused condition with all the proper paperwork. Depending on the manufacturer there may be a restocking fee and you are also responsible for return shipping costs. All sales are final after 14 days from date of purchase. No returns are accepted without an RA number. Return the item for an exchange or refund within 14 days of receiving it. Please return the item in unused condition with all the proper paperwork. * Please examine your package carefully and report any damage to us immediately (e-mail or call our our customer service line). You can return the item for an exchange or refund within 14 days from date of purchase with a RA number. Please return the item completely sealed with the necessary paperwork. * Please allow for four weeks to process your return. Orders processed with free shipping will have the standard shipping charge subtracted from your purchase credit to cover your shipping fees to send your return back to the manufacturer.
